Water & fire damage can be a small or very big problem to your walls & ceilings. It is important to first be sure the leak that caused the damage is fixed before doing anything else. After you are sure the leak or plumbing problem is secure, then you can begin with the repair. First, you want to remove and replace any rotted wood, drywall or plaster. Be sure it is completely dry before you begin to prime the stained surfaces that are not rotted. We then plaster or spackle where needed to restore the surface back to its original condition. When it is done right, the repair is permanent.
